ParentsLead.org – resources for parents and professionals for behavioral health, wellness and substance abuse with children and teens.

FirstLink – can provide assistance finding food, paying housing bills, accessing free childcare, or other essential services for our students and families during this critical time. They also have a database of community resources that is an excellent resource.

NDkids.org – a statewide map of services to help find services in our area.  Check out their website and map (click on Mercer County).

Community Action Agencies – Each of the seven CAAs across ND offer a wide variety of programs to serve those in need.  Eligibility is based on state and/or federal income guidelines which vary amongst programs. Contact the CAA in your region for additional information. 

ND Behavioral Health - support for taking care of your mental health, support your child, talk with a trained counselor, resources for educators and more.

ND Department of Human Services – DHS administers public assistance programs such as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Childcare Assistance, Medicaid, and Healthy Steps Children’s Health Insurance. The application guide book can be found here. Eligibility guidelines vary amongst programs.  Contact DHS directly for additional information.
