Congratulations Poetry Out Loud Finalists!!

Congratulations to Sydney Rogness, Juno Obenauer, Logan Schwab, Matthew Lehrmann, Sloane McCray, and Grace Schrempf as finalists in the Poetry Out Loud contest for sophomores.  Following the classroom competition, each of these students recited his/her poem to a panel of judges in the school competition, with Sloane McCray earning the top score and a trip to the Poetry Out Loud competition in Bismarck on February 24.  The contest was part of Mrs. Schmitt’s English curriculum, in conjunction with North Dakota Poetry Out Loud and North Dakota Council on the Arts.
